1971 oldsmobile cutlass - tampa, flstreetside classic carstampa, fl 33559ph: 8135011630web: n/aoptions:description:it's hard not to get excited about an affordable 1971 oldsmobile cutlass coupe that been restored like a true muscle machine with great paint cool features a/c and an olds 350 v8 under the hood. There are plenty of aggressive touches but it's not trying to be a 442. Instead this takes the iconic design elements like the flared fenders rounded rear and long pillarless hardtop with the fastback silhouette and it makes into something unique. This all starts with the paint. The metallic orange was recently applied with a very professional hand. The result is color that is kin to gm's iconic hugger orange but with plenty more luster and shine. Plus plenty of trim has been painted black for a modern aggressive appearance. But one main element of the brightwork was not changed ã¢â‚¬â€œ the bumpers. The front one gives this coupe the classic american appearance and few companies were better at integrating the chrome rear bumper into the sheetmetal design than olds. Plus the shine of these do a great job of matching the iconic cragar ss wheels. Inside is more of the same well-executed custom attitude. The bucket seats have been recovered in close to the cutlass s pattern but they are just different enough to be interesting (heck it almost looks like they belong in a mopar muscle machine!) the cream color of the vinyl seats nicely matches the new door panels headliner sail panel and center console. Just below that is a new am/fm/cd stereo control and controls for ice-cold air conditioning running modern r-134a. Oldsmobile people know that a rocket 350 cubic-inch motor is something very special. Olds manufactured their own v8 engines during this era and they were quite different than the chevy version. These golden blocks are beefy motors that have proven to be virtually indestructible out in the real world. The long tube headers contribute to the power increase as well as help make a meaner rumble out of the dual exhaust. But even with all the added attitude this olds doesn't lose its premium driving feeling. With features like power steering three-speed automatic transmission front disc brakes there's an easy drive behind the aggressive appearance. Here's a well-sorted custom coupe that even comes with the owner's manual. It's unique wherever it goes and also undeniably american. This whole standout package is so affordable we know it's going fast. Power Windows✔ Bucket Seats✔ AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning

It's a real-deal code-4467 convertible, which makes it rare. And it has been upgraded to a 455 v8, which makes it unbeatable. There are very few designs from this era that could say both sporty and luxury so well. This convertible has all the great dramatic curves, flared fenders, and a handsome front end that was instantly recognizable as being from gm's rocket division. It's coated in its factory-correct blue turquoise paint, which has been professionally re-sprayed for a terrific premium glossy finish. All the details are correct on this car from the 442 badging, to the trim line that starts at the headlights and follows the coke-bottle silhouette all the way to the taillights. Beneath the pristine black folding soft top is a pristine black interior. The textured bucket seats, door panels, and carpeting all feel fresh and show no signs of being left out with the top down. This level of presentation is a great reminder that the 442 is a muscle car for family and friends with enough room to carry five in wide comfort. After all, oldsmobile was about providing a premium feeling over the standard cars of the day. Olds fans were a bit confused in '69 why gm didn't lift its displacement restrictions and allow the larger 455 cubic-inch v8 in the hot 442. This car rectifies that conundrum, and the extra large olds big-block is under the hood for a more potent muscle car. The rocket 455 v8 looks terrific filling the engine bay with its golden goodness. This comes from features such as a th400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. Even the classic redline tires hide the more modern grip of bf goodrich radials. That's why we know a classic like this won't stay long in out showroom. Bucket Seats✔ AM/FM
